Friendly Design 3.0 is Live!

friendly-design-image

So after several weeks of hard work intertwined with quite a lot of client work, the latest version of the Friendly Design Ltd website is up and running. We treated the redesign as another piece of client work, so it got the full treatment. We wanted something that was friendly and professional, clean and modern, relatively minimalistic and above all was a website we would be proud of calling our own. We reckon that we’ve ticked all of those boxes, but we’d love to hear your thoughts.

There’s still a few tweaks to make for cross-browser completeness which we’ll be working on and is something we intend to document. For now, if you’re using the latest version of pretty much any browser you should get a website the way we intended it. We had a look at our statistics from our previous incarnations and realised that over 99% of people had javascript on (we’re convinced that the 1% was other web developers testing what the site looks like without it). We also noted that only 3% of people were unfortunate enough to be using IE6, so we’ve informally dropped support for that browser, although we will be releasing an update for it which will have the bare-bones.

We’d love to hear what you think!
